Wifirst was appointed to provide a fully managed WiFi and Internet connection to the Sav Groups latest refurb managed by CRM Students. Wifirst, being one of the biggest Internet Service providers in Europe for Student accommodation, was a natural fit and greatly appreciative of this partnership with CRM Students.
The project management team wanted Wifirst to provide ultra high capacity fibre to the building, and provide state-of-the-art WiFi to all 112 rooms in the scheme. The challenge was to incorporate this prior to their January opening, with a really tight timeframe within the refurbishment phase. Wifirst had less than 2 months to deliver and install all new cables throughout the building, working with other building companies already on site.
A new, state-of-the-art WiFi installation, providing a robust and unlimited WiFi connection to all tenants. The solution was also handed over 2 weeks prior to the deadline! To date, no complaints have been given to the reception and more services are being tested. The staff was also able to implement third party providers on top of this WiFi infrastructure, such as CCTV / Door Locks and a Cinema Room.
