Wifirst is committed to acting for a more sustainable world, and to embodying its social and environmental responsibility. By integrating CSR at the heart of our strategy, we are committed to reducing our ecological footprint, promoting ethical practices and fostering the well-being of our employees. This dynamic, rooted in our values and supported by the members of our management team, enables us to build more sustainable networks and take concrete action for an environmentally-friendly future, both internally and with our customers and partners.

Lines of commitment

The environment: being a responsible operator

Reducing environmental impact by reducing our carbon footprint is at the heart of Wifirst's strategy. We deploy sustainable networks with conviction and support our customers and partners in their own challenges. Since 2020, Wifirst has been calculating its carbon footprint (the latest Assessment can be found here) and acting in favor of the circular economy. Wifirst's environmental policy is based on the following commitments:

Reducing its carbon footprint

Wifirst's carbon footprint assessment has enabled us to identify the impacts associated with our activity and to define reduction targets to contribute to the Paris Agreements, with actions put in place to achieve them. Actions have been taken to achieve our reduction targets:

  • Progressive replacement of combustion-powered vehicles by electric vehicles
  • Supplying our offices with electricity from renewable sources
  • Raising awareness of climate issues (Climate Fresco)
  • Business travel policy to limit air travel
  • Involvement of our value chain in ESG initiatives
Other actions taken

  • Recycling print cartridges since 2015;
  • Zero plastic since 2017 ;
  • Waste sorting since 2018;
  • The use of recycled paper, and the setting of printers to recto/verso since 2019;
  • The implementation of a responsible purchasing grid in 2020.
  • Remote meetings to limit travel

Employee well-being: being a responsible employer

Wifirst’s commitment to its employees is reflected in its recruitment, management, training, and internal career development policies. Wifirst’s ambition is to foster an inclusive culture that enables everyone to fully realize their potential, whatever their individual characteristics. This includes promoting professional equality between women and men, starting from recruitment and throughout their careers within the company.

Recruitment
In 2025, 30% of the talent recruited at Wifirst were women. For equal skills and equivalent positions, men and women were hired at the same salary level.

Workforce
Our positions are primarily technical and attract a majority of male applicants. As of December 31, 2025, women represented one quarter of our workforce.

Salary Increase Policy
In 2025, the proportion of employees eligible for a salary increase was equivalent between women and men.

Return from Leave
A return-to-work interview after a long absence is systematically offered to ensure a smooth and confident transition back to work.

Training
In 2025, 1,079 hours of external training were completed. Wifirst also invests in internal training within the company: cumulatively in 2025, 316 Wifirst employees completed at least one training module on our learning platform or delivered by internal experts. This represents a total of more than 2,000 training hours over the year 2025.

Promotion
Wifirst ensures career management and promotions based solely on professional criteria (skills, experience, and professional qualities).

Support for External Initiatives
Wifirst supports external initiatives through the allocation of its apprenticeship tax to associations such as Elles bougent, which aims to introduce high school and university students to exciting careers as technicians and engineers.

Wifirst also strives to ensure balance and well-being for its employees through a healthy working environment: a remote work policy and sports support, with a professional coach present two days per week to help employees improve their fitness through personalized training sessions (strength training, boxing, etc.).

 

Business practices that respect human rights: being a responsible partner to our customers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Wifirst has created a healthy ecosystem with all its stakeholders. We have been working with the same trusted suppliers and technicians for many years. In order to verify the compliance of our suppliers and production sites, we include dedicated clauses in each of our contracts.

Installing equipment that does not impact on the health of staff and users

Wifirst complies with the regulatory conditions for radio emission power set by Arcep.

External recognition

To define its commitments and steer its CSR strategy, Wifirst relies on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of its membership of Global Compact (Access our latest progress report).
