1. What's the difference between a managed CCTV solution and a conventional video surveillance system?

With a conventional system, you have to buy the hardware, find an installer and manage maintenance and updates yourself. Our managed solution is an all-in-one service: we take care of everything, from design to supervision. You benefit from a solution that's always up and running, without having to devote time or internal resources to it.

2. Is the Wifirst CCTV solution GPRD compliant?

Yes, we guarantee data security and confidentiality by encrypting flows and recordings, strict management of access rights and full traceability of consultations.

3. What happens if a camera breaks down?

Thanks to our active supervision, we detect most breakdowns remotely, often before you even notice them. An alert is automatically sent to our technical teams, who diagnose the problem and schedule an intervention if necessary, in line with your contractual service agreements.

4. Where and for how long are images stored?

We offer two options: local storage on a recorder installed on your site, or secure storage in the Cloud. The length of time images are stored is defined with you at the project design stage, to meet your needs and legal obligations.

5. What type of equipment do you install?

We work in partnership with the major players in the video surveillance market to offer you professional, reliable equipment. Following an audit of your site, we select the cameras best suited to each area (high-definition 4K, motorised domes, night vision, etc.).

6. How is the solution protected against piracy?

Security is our top priority. In addition to being isolated on a dedicated network (VLAN), the solution is protected by strict firewall rules. All video streams can be encrypted, access to the management interface is protected by complex passwords, and we manage equipment security updates to guard against new threats.

7. Will the installation disrupt my business?

We are well aware of your operational constraints. A dedicated project manager works with you to plan the deployment in advance, so as to minimise the impact on your business.

8. Will installing cameras slow down my connection?

No, because our solution is designed to preserve your network performance. The video flow circulates on a dedicated, isolated local area network (LAN), which has no impact on your customers' WiFi or Internet connection for your day-to-day operations. Only remote consultations or Cloud storage use the Internet connection.

9. Will my teams be trained to use the system (VMS)?

Yes, once the installation is complete, we organise a training session for your teams. The aim is to make them fully autonomous in day-to-day use: viewing live video, searching for an event, and securely exporting a video sequence.

10. How do I access images and recordings?

You access the video surveillance system securely via a web portal accessible from any computer, or via a dedicated mobile application (iOS and Android). From this interface (VMS), you can view live feeds, search and review past recordings by date and time, and export video sequences in the event of an incident.
