Wifirst at a Glance

Headquartered in France and a member of the Next40 class of 2023, Wifirst has established itself as Europe's leading provider of managed professional WiFi. Our identity is built on a founding principle: designing, deploying and operating sovereign network infrastructures — built in Europe, for organisations that cannot afford downtime.

Over two decades of hands-on expertise, Wifirst has built a continent-wide infrastructure: more than one million connected rooms across hotels, student residences and tourist accommodations throughout Europe, 450,000 WiFi access points managed and monitored 24/7, and over 10 million distinct devices connecting to our networks every month.

As a registered operator with the French telecoms regulator (Arcep), Wifirst is far more than a hardware installer. Our WiFi as a Service model covers the entire lifecycle of your connectivity infrastructure — from site surveys and deployment to real-time monitoring, maintenance and ongoing upgrades. This end-to-end approach frees IT teams from network operations and delivers consistent, high-performance connectivity regardless of sector or geography. At the heart of every deployment is the Wifirst Gateway, developed entirely in-house — the nerve centre for supervision and integration of client infrastructures. Our management software runs on Wifirst's private cloud, hosted in Paris datacentres and currently undergoing Sec Num Cloud qualification.

Wifirst's footprint spans 20,000 connected retail and business sites, covering more than 25 million square metres of equipped space. Our solution portfolio extends well beyond WiFi: dedicated fibre, SD-WAN, managed LAN, cybersecurity, IP telephony, IPTV, video surveillance and digital signage form an integrated ecosystem orchestrated through our proprietary network intelligence platform, Wifirst Center.

With 500 specialists entirely focused on telecoms expertise and client satisfaction, and a group revenue of €150 million, Wifirst has the industrial capacity to manage complex, large-scale deployments — including in critical and sovereign environments. The company operates connectivity for the French Armed Forces across domestic bases and overseas operations, manages WiFi networks for Crous student residences serving hundreds of thousands of students, and equips the European estate of Accor Group. The trust placed in Wifirst by multiple French government ministries reflects the reliability and resilience of its solutions in the most demanding environments.

ISO 27001 certified by AFNOR, awarded the EcoVadis Silver medal for environmental responsibility, and a pioneer of Infrastructure as a Service in Europe, Wifirst places data security, infrastructure sovereignty and digital responsibility at the core of every project. Our mission has remained unchanged since day one: manage the complexity of your network so you can focus on what matters most to your business.
