Hotel du Collectionneur, the largest 5 star hotel and conference centre in France needed an experienced service provider, capable of managing both WiFi and Fibre Leased Lines, providing hotel guests and conference delegates with a fast and reliable wireless infrastructure.
Coverage of 502 guest rooms and over 1,700m2 of event space with the largest conference room holding up to 650 delegates, in addition to a large outdoor patio. Wifirst installed 162 WiFi AP terminals throughout the property, with larger AP’s for the conference area where it is vital to ensure reliable connectivity for hundreds of devices in one single room. The Wifirst network design was created to accommodate more than 1500 simultaneous users.
The increase in customer satisfaction with the new Wifirst service was reflected in the rise in the WiFi Booking score from 6.8 to 8.1 in one year. It is now 10/10! Wifirst also contributes to the overall success of events held in the hotel's extensive event space thanks to its MICE solution providing dedicated networks, bandwidth allocation, on-call technical support, etc.
