Wifirst chosen to equip the mythical Barcelona Palace with Stream & Cast and IPTV services

Driven by a desire for constant modernisation, the Cotton House Hotel by Marriott, an emblematic 5-star establishment of Barcelona Gran Via, have placed their trust in Wifirst, an european leader in managed WiFi for professionals, as a connectivity partner with the launch of its Stream & Cast and IPTV solutions.

After being adopted for medical use during the first confinement period in Spain last spring, the Cotton House Hotel has reopened its doors with more force than ever and a wish to differentiate itself with leading technology.

We are adapting our services to answer the new customer expectations with Covid-19, especially by taking a step further in our technological offer in the room. Taking advantage of the secured WiFi network provided by Wifirst, we are now incorporating their IPTV and Chromecast solutions in an easy and safe way for our guests. In addition to traditional TV, they will now be able to bring their own content (streaming applications) see their photos, videos, or even use the TV screen for video calls - explains David Anguera, IT DIrector of the Cotton House Hotel

The Cotton House Hotel will also be the first hotel in Spain to incorporate TechLive's AirTime service under the Wifirst Stream & Cast TV platform. Guests of the 5 star hotel will now have access to an infinite number of On Demand movies and TV channels at no extra cost. A whole new world of customisable items to improve the overall customer experience.
