Over 12 years of Wifirst & Accor partnership
Europe's leading hotel group, Accor embodies augmented hospitality across the globe. For over 12 years, Wifirst has supported this ambition as a strategic technology partner. Listed by Accor's central purchasing unit Astore, Wifirst now deploys tomorrow's standards – Wi-Fi 6/7, dedicated fibre, unified networking – across nearly 1,000 hotels throughout Europe.
// 12 YEARS OF HISTORY: A RENEWED TRUST
From a French tender to European leadership
Our shared story began in 2013 with the rollout of Wi-Fi at 250 Mercure, Novotel and Pullman hotels. What started as a national contract has grown into a major European alliance.
Today, Wifirst's footprint within the Accor estate is substantial:
- European coverage: Wifirst operates in 9 countries – France, United Kingdom, Benelux, DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Spain, Italy.
- Industrial scale: over 1,000 hotels equipped, representing more than 115,000 connected rooms.
- Market share: Wifirst now equips more than 35% of Accor's hotel estate in Europe.
// ASTORE 2025: THE FUTURE-READY LISTING
Wi-Fi 7: the new standard for hospitality
Accor never stops innovating for its franchisees. As part of the Astore 2025 listings, Wifirst was selected to roll out a breakthrough technology: Wi-Fi 7.
This new standard addresses the surge in data consumption – nearly 100 GB consumed per room each month on average – and ensures a seamless experience, from 4K streaming to the most demanding mobile use cases.
// INFRASTRUCTURE: THE CONNECTIVITY ONE-STOP SHOP
Fibre, VoIP, TV: a comprehensive multiservice offer
To make life easier for franchisees and property owners (Invest), Wifirst offers a one-stop-shop approach, listed by Astore. We are far more than a Wi-Fi operator:
- Dedicated fibre (FTTO): 55% of our Accor customers are connected via Wifirst's dedicated fibre to guarantee bandwidth.
- Telephony (VoIP): a cloud-native solution that modernises ageing PABX systems.
- IPTV & Chromecast: listed entertainment solutions delivering the "just like home" experience.
- Unified network: a single physical infrastructure connecting both guests and operational services (staff, CCTV, digital signage, IoT).
// FLEXIBLE COMMERCIAL MODELS
Tailored to every property owner's reality
Because every hotel has its own financial reality, Wifirst offers, through the Astore listing, several acquisition models:
- Full OPEX: an all-inclusive solution (hardware, supervision, maintenance) spread over 36, 48 or 60 months to protect cash flow.
- CAPEX: an outright hardware purchase option for those who prefer to invest upfront.
"With the deployment of the Wifirst solution, AccorHotels is in a position to provide its customers with a quality service that is comprehensive and easy to use."
